Harvoni has the least side effects and is the only cure. Insurances are paying for it after a lot of paper work. There is also assistance from the manufacturer. They will help you get the insurance to pay and have some co pay assistance. Go to their web site, harvoni.com. My primary dr and I were talking about harvoni the other day, she is also an infection control dr, and she said it was the only drug for hep c that works, I brought up the cost since its costs as much as our first house did. She said that my state (Pennsylvania) is suing over the cost.
