I've tried Tramodol, Tylenol #3, both which did not help. Vicodin makes my stomach upset. I take Junel continuously to help with the heavy blood flow, but I still have terrible cramping. What's left to take for the pain? I'm at a loss, and in a significant amount of discomfort. Any help would be appreciated.
when i get bad cramps, a super hot bath help for a lil break of pain before med kicks in....and an answer to your question, maybe a higher dose of tramadol? Or if you werent before, eat a meal with the vicoden. they say eating with vicoden and such, will make it easier on the stomach. Also if you go to the search at the top of the page, type in period cramps and then scroll down to user reviews, and itll give u a list of medications used for cramps and peoples rating and input on each one.
I feel your pain! I have a severe case of endometriosis and the cramps can feel deathly. Midol seems to help a little but makes me loopy for some reason. I have to take birth control to regulate my periods and it helps a little with the cramping, but I do take a couple tyl 3 during that time and it actually doesn't make me loopy like Midol. Maybe a muscle relaxer would help? I wish I had a better suggestion for you :( I am usually stuck in bed so drugged up and in pain at least one of the days on my period.
