... chest pain. Dizziness, nervous and built up insecurities when expecting guests. Unable to eat proper meals. All triggered from being mis diagnosed with shadow on lung. Scared of being left alone, and always having negative thoughts. Please can somebody give some advice
Hi. These fears and negative thoughts all just started 11 days ago? Sounds like something else might be going on here. Just curious, did a physician prescribe this or have you been to see a psychiatrist? If the fluoxetine isn't working, it might be worth your time to visit a menatl health specialist. Maybe he/she could help you get to the bottom of these thoughts and fears and at the same time prescribe something that might help a little more. Hope this helps even if it is just a little.
Every symptom you have is due to anxiety. You need to see a good psychiatrist or family Doc or internist. Why are you anxious if the lung diagnosis is false? Try to relax... there is nothing to fear. Your lungs are FINE. It was all a big mistake. It's okay to see a family Doc or internist if you've never been anxious before or as a 1st help while waiting to get to see a psychiatrist. Psychiatrists know far more about anxiety meds than the other Docs. As do pharmacists. The other Docs can help if your problem has never occurred before because this would indicate you are having only passing situational anxiety. They are okay for handling a short-term problem. If you've ever struggled like this before, you're better off finding a good psychiatrist to help you out for the long term.
You can reduce your misery by carefully placing your thoughts on good, pleasant things and talking positively to yourself. After all, there is no lung problem, it was a mistake. Aren't you glad you don't have a shadow on your lungs? You're in the clear! Enjoy that! ;o)
