Definitely Risperidone should be used with caution if there is a history of stroke...
Patients are more at risk of having a stroke when taking risperidone compared to when they are not taking the drug.
You and your doctor should discuss the risks of taking risperidone versus its benefits. You need to make sure you are convinced the benefits outweigh the risks. Good luck.
