... deal with it?
I've been diagnosed with chronic pain but they can't find a specific reason for my pain. I was wondering if there is any one else going through this? I have had surgery to try to find the reason with little justification.

... deal with it?
I also have chronic pain with no specific reason. Find a pain management doctor. They'll try all different things to see what might work for you. Fentanyl patches, different meds, etc. Since mine is in my left abdomen they also tried shots (1 abdominal nerve block and 2 celiac plexus blocks). Then they settled down to a mix of 3 different meds to try to control it with no luck. My new doc recommended a spinal cord stimulator which worked wonders for about 2 months and then quit.
This Friday I just started low doses of Methadone pills to help. It's early days yet but it does seem to help a bit. Pain doesn't seem as intense although I'm tired. Hoping once my body gets used to it it will help the pain more and make me tired less.
Everyone says that they wean you on to it and will increase it a little at a time.
I would say that pain management doctor is the best help I've gotten. I'm sorry you've got to deal with it. I know how hard it is to function properly and get help. Please let us know how things go.
I hope this helps you in some way.
