You need to see a nutritionist. What you are eating is not going to sustain life. You need protein. You should eat a balanced diet. A dietician can teach you what to eat. You're going to have a problem taking metformin and not eating right. Don't eat sweets of course, and only high quality carbs. Protein is necessary, and very few veges are going to hurt. The high carb ones like corn and lima beans would be out, but carrots, celery, greenbeans, lettuce, they are all free, you can eat all you want.
