... was diagnosed in 2010. Currently my main problem is motor dysfunction (movement) caused by drafts and breezes, making going out doors and staying in doors difficult unless I am dressed up as though it is winter when it is summer in the UK. Has anyone else had this problem or is having this problem?, any solutions? I am on medications but they is not working
I'm so sorry that you are so very limited in what you are able to do. Myofascial pain is so horrible, those muscles affected just never relax, do they? I have myofascial pain, yet I don't experience any motor dysfunction. Could you elaborate on how it affects you, please? What do you do when the temperature gets quite warm, or do you live in an area where it never gets very warm?
Why not just stay in layers of winter clothing, so you can take off a layer if you become too warm in a current temperature? You could buy summer-type colors of winter clothing, too, which may make you feel a bit better about dressing in heavier clothing.
If you give us a list of medications that you've been taking, we can at least try to make suggestions. You could add any meds that you've taken that didn't work and were discontinued as well. Doing that will help us to answer your question. There may be a medication that you've not thought of, or there may be a medication that could be causing some side effects that you might be experiencing, like Topamax, it causes people to feel as if they are so very cold. (Topamax is prescribed for migraines for the most part, but sometimes prescribed off label for chronic pain, that's just one example of a side effect that may make your situation much worse.)
Wishing you all the best,
