Thanks in advance!
From a quick search on an ADHD forum, it seems that most European countries do not allow Adderall prescriptions by their doctors due to the abuse potential. Ritalin, however, is readily available, but if you're an adult, it will be difficult to find a doctor willing to prescribe it, because many doctors in Europe don't believe in adult ADHD. Which is unfortunate, because I can personally attest that it DOES NOT GO AWAY after childhood.
I've had ADHD my whole life, was diagnosed at 9, and am currently 28 and still taking Adderall for ADHD, and it helps a lot. I have bad reactions to Ritalin-based drugs (Concerta, Ritalin LA, Metadate, etc.). Focalin XR was the only one that worked, but it still wasn't all that effective for concentration and inattention, and the "come down" effects caused mood-swings and irritability.
Sorry that Europe is so behind the times.
