For example is it a disease, condition (we now know it is not a syndrome).
Devin J Starlanyl is (in my opinion) THE expert on all things fibromyalgia and myofascial related! Great books and info. I've a book that is about 12 years old, but it's still applicable.
Good luck with your MF pain, I do hope you've got muscle relaxers and pain meds, it's truly a horrible thing to endure. My heart goes out to you.
May I ask if you are taking magnesium and all the B vits? I also take folic acid and a prescription vit D.
I know you're not asking for a description yet I want to know what you think of the following...
The only description of myofascial pain that made sense to me was thus; like the odd membrane on a boneless, skinless chicken breast, we too have these membranes on our muscles, which while relaxed are fluid, when in use they are like a gel or harden a bit like the chicken membrane. But OURS never relax into the fluid or liquid, so we are stuck with hardened muscles at all times.
Do you agree with that description? I'm curious to know what your opinion of this idea is. If you've read anything else that makes sense, please share it?
