... his antibiotic pre-treatment. I dread post-treatment as I know I must restrict his activities for a month or two. This little boy loves to run and jump and play with my other Pomeranian. It breaks my heart to have to keep him crated, but I will do what I have to so that he will regain his health. Any suggestions for my emotional health taking care of him? Thank you
You're going to have to keep telling yourself its for his own good. Will he sit on your lap if you hold him? You can both benefit from that if he'll sit still. When my old one was 6 mos old he had a belly button hernia fixed, and I sat and held him and rocked him for hours. I don't know who benefitted more, lol. The others are going to torment him, so you may have to keep them away from him. My young dog will torment the heck out of the old one if the old one wants some peace.
