... only missed a couple of evening doses and took them first thing in the morning. Does anyone know much about how the virus builds resistance to Atripla (i.e. does it hurt to take it a few hours late once in awhile?)
There is no easy answer. It is not good to miss doses. maybe keeping a dose with u at all times would help. Marking off a calender on the fridge would help. The best question is why are u missing a dose and do things to solve that problem. Missing doses in a row is worse. If your viral load is hi it is worse. Nobody can tell the exact harm, but people who miss dosages, and who miss them more often have worse virological outcomes. Solve the problem so it happens never or very very rarely. then go on enjoying life.
