10/325 which were lost. After much begging and being belittled by a staff member, the Dr agreed to write me 60 more pills until time to have my staples removed. I just noticed they are Percocet7.5/325 to be taken 1 every 6 to 8 hours as needed, rather than every 4 hours like the original. I'm 6'1 286lbs and am literally in tears from the pain. I'm afraid to even call back over to his office because the staff was so cruel, even with me offering to take any tests asked. I'm getting absolutely no relief taking a 7.5 every 6 to 8 hours but feel like I can stretch them thru the 6 more days until the staples come out, but am unable to see my primary care physician until 6 days after that. Someone tell me what to do, PLEASE!!! I am desperate!
Didn't you know. We are all junkies who can't be trusted. In Australia we have to sign a contract that the pain medication has to be out of children's reach and then kept in a lock box. If it goes missing or gets stolen (usually by a 'friend') the only document they accept is a police report. I actually asked my pharmacy to only release two weeks of Fentanyl at a time (the pharmacy says: but its... ). I have to say 2 weeks only (it keeps me under control too as I can't be trusted with opiates really and one friend who I don't trust). I've had more hits than Elvis; so I don't feel remotely bad at all about it. The most medication I have had replaced was a box of 5 patches; I spoke to my doctor and explained that it was just gone. I said: I don't know what's happened, I don't know if it's me or whether they have been taken. He looked up on his computer and replied: if you were trying to rort me it would have happened before now (about 6 years without issue).
I really have no idea what you can do although women doctors and nurses can be more empathic but equally some just love to see a grown man cry and are essentially evil.
