Forehead pain. Pain is around eye area nose, and forehead also get this pressure & tingling feeling. Also Feeling off balance like dizziness, or like I’m gonna fall. Feel weak, fatigued And eyes feel heavy at times. Gone to the doctor about 4 times within 3 weeks all they gave me was a nasal saline spray, Flonase, Claritin & ibuprofen I take all except Claritin. Also just had a CT scan of my head waiting on the results.
Are you going to sleep and waking up with this pain for days without change?
Do you find your pain is worse when lying down?
are under 30 years old?
If you answered mostly yes to these symptoms reply to my message and I have a pretty good hunch of what could be going on...
Meanwhile, you should definitely get a netty rinse bottle and the pre packaged sinus rinse salt packets.
Called Niel Med and the bottle and packets come in one box. Probably around $12-$15 and you just mix a packet of rinse and fill the bottle with water and shake. Over a sink squeeze up Both nostrils tilting head.
You will probably be shocked by what might come from your sinuses. In fact I think everyone should be doing this once a day because it completely opens up your airways! Truly amazing.
Might feel odd at first but trust me it should at least relieve some pressure in your sinuses.
I’m waiting on my 5th CT scan as well. I already had sinuse surgery and its looking like I will probably be getting another.
I certainly don’t want to have you worry. I had several factors causing my chronic migraine diseases. My left sinuses were completely diseased and full of infection and apparently it was like that for most likely several years.
Surgery did not help me because the root of my pain had several key factors but it was worth a shot.
As I mentioned earlier you most likely just have some buildup of old mucus which happens with the changing of seasons such as very high humidity, dry cold, etc.
Feel free to ask me anything and best of luck on a Clean CT scan.
It sounds like chronic sinutis. If the doctor you are seeing doesn't help, go to an ear, nose and throat specialist.
It may be an allergy based problem, so a visit to an allergist may also help.
Better to find the cause than take everything under the sun to treat symptoms.
Good luck to you!
Hello! I hope you are feeling better now. I was experiencing the same symptoms that you described in your post. Mine started when I was leaning over my desk at work and all of a sudden, felt some dizziness. When I started feeling pressure in my head the next day along with some congestion along my cheek bones, I went to my family doc and she initially suspected a cold virus. But it festered for too long and even after two rounds of antibiotics, a CT scan confirming sinusitis, an appointment with the ENT who confirmed sinusitis and finally, a tapered dosage of prednisone... I still have the occasional head pressure (almost feels like a tight band around my head) and tingling on the left side of the face and slight headaches.
I am not even sure if my current symptoms are due to prednisone withdrawal or because of my neck/shoulder muscles being sore or if I am just a walking medical mystery <lol>
I did try NeilMed sinus rinse when I had the sinusitis and it appeared to work.
I am also noticing when that I get too anxious or stressed, these symptoms are flaring up... so maybe I just need to learn to calm myself and think positive. I live in the Mid-Atlantic area and the weather has been crappy all year long, so I am even wondering if the weather is contributing to all these symptoms.
