I have been diagnosed with excess spinal fluid on the brain and this is one of the drugs they give for this.
Can some one with hcv take acetazolamide?

Is the prescribing doctor aware of your hepatitis?
Acetazolamide is contraindicated in patients with marked liver disease or
impairment of liver function because of the risk of
development of hepatic encephalopathy.
