I had a nerve block for my neck, shoulders, arms. It has worn out. Now the pain is bck and dr diagnosed me with fibro and to take Savella. But I can hardly move and I don't know when the Savella will start working or if it wil work at all. I was hoping dr. would put me on percocet, after trying vicodin (which made me feel dead) and the darvocet (which is going to be black-labeled.) I need pain relief now. I haven't had a darvocet in 3 days.
The sevella will help with the pain which is the main reason why the doctor ordered it for you. If he prescribed you the darvocet then why would you not take it??
The problem with propoxyphene and tylenol (Darvocet) is it has been proven that extra strength tylenol is as good or better a painkiller without the risk of opiate addiction. Most doctors now are getting away from ordering opiates for fibromyalgia and arthritis as they just don't work that well and the addiction factor is just to high to risk. So I try not to take the darvocet but, if your doctor has prescribed it along with knowing that you are taking Sevalla then it is up to you. It won't hurt you if that's what you're asking... Good luck and I hope your pain gets under control soon... Dave
hi,ask your doctor or your pharmacy, give them a call.as far as taking percoset goes, why would you wanna take that if vicodian made you feel dead percocet is stronger and kinda the same drug, dont you think percs are gona make you feel more than "dead" your wordes not mine. maybe codine just isn't for you..
