... having any sex life right now and I am going crazy but I want to be supportive to her. She has all hormones levels check and came back normal and I don't understand what is going on with her. Need help right away
Hi. I was diagnosed with Hashomoto's 4 years ago. My hormones level was normal, but I had elevated thyroid antibodies that really have shown that I have Hashimoto. My doctor gave me a good advice to not take any medications because it will kill my thyroid, but she didn't know how to treat my condition. I had all possible symptoms including a low libido. I did really a huge research. This is a book that you have to read first- "Why Do I Still Have Thyroid Symptoms? when My Lab Tests Are Normal" by Dr. Datis Kharrazian. This book will explain that this disease is really exists, and your wife is not crazy. I was able to to lower my thyroid antibodies from 2500 to 88 only by changing my diet. Actually I have started to feel much better only after 2 weeks been on the gluten free diet. So she has to exclude gluten (100%, never ever again), soy, dairy. The best book that helped me to get to next level is by Dr. Terry Wahls "Defeating Progressive Multiple Sclerosis" . Her story is inspiring and she gives a lot of very helpful advises on how to manage stress level, how to sleep better, she even has recipes. She has 3 steps in her diet. I am on step 2, and I don't think I will ever need step 3. Now, I feel better than all my live. I don't take any supplements except vitamin D. My husband is huge supporter, and most of my friend understood my diet too. They even prepare some separate dishes for me. Also, I bring my food everywhere. Good luck. Stay strong. It's really possible to beat this disease.
