This will be the third time I missed 2 periods in a row. I've taken tests and everything, not pregnant. Which... doesn't surprise me... I rarely have sex and I'm pretty normal at taking the pill. It's just a little a unsettling missing so many!
You didn't state your age, but since you are concerned about this, I am assuming you aren't close to menopausal age. If you're relatively young and have always had regular cycles, I would suggest speaking to your doctor so they can determine what is causing you to miss so many periods. It isn't normal during the reproductive years, but it doesn't necessarily mean that there is something seriously wrong. It could be something as relatively minor as hormone imbalances causing your periods to come irregularly. Needless to say though, it is better to be safe than sorry. I would speak to the doctor about this, have a pap smear and whatever blood panels they may suggest, and they'll be able to get to the root of the problem before you know it. Best wishes!
