I am having two teeth pulled and will be put out for the surgery, has anybody had any problems with anesthetic and methotrexate?
When I had surgery--abdominal--my surgeon said that I had to stop taking the methotrexate for 2 weeks before the surgery until six weeks after, but that had to do with healing not anesthesia. I have not been told to alter my methotrexate usage for any dental work I've had done. I would speak to your oral surgeon and find out what she/he would like you to do. I wish you an uneventful surgery and a speedy recovery! Take care, lady of howard
