I had a hip replaced 2 years ago and felt so good I have been going like a bat out of hell - my old self again full of energy. Just recently when I bend over or get up from a sitting position I feel a pain in that hip - I have to slowly stand for a minute - sometimes my shin hurts and sometimes it feels like it's the muscle in my thigh! My son thinks it is a bone spur and I don't even know what that is. These people on suboxone are so smart (ha ha really I kid)!! Any thoughts? Is my new hip joint coming out of its socket??
Hi there old friend! It's been a while. There's no telling what's going on with your new hip. It could be anything. That's why it is VITAL you contact the surgeon and let them know these new symptoms. Major blood vessels are in that area and it's nothing to mess around with. Please contact them asap! In the meantime keep your physical activities to a minimum and have your son take on all the household stuff for now. I'm so happy to hear from you but not under these circumstances. Please don't mess around with this... make the appt. today. Please keep us posted. Your friend, chris
Thanks Chris, my daughter is going to start doing things and my son is woprking the harvest is coming in CA and we are so busy. I didn't think it was that serious but maybe I should check in Tues. Gosh 22 years ago I was having my daughter now she is cleaning the house! How time flies. I have been doing alot but it sometimes feels better when I do alot - took a couple aspirin but by the time they work the pain is sometimes gone so no point in taking anything.I was so happy to have my life back - hope my 'smart son doing good on suboxone' is right about the bone spur but that could be a major problem too. Oh well - I will be a good girl and slow down - thank you - I appreciate your answer. I will have more time to read everyones post and join in. kath
