I have recently started Savella and have missed my cycle this month. Other than some other mild side effects, ie; constipation, sweating, sleeplessness... Savella is working great!! Still have "bad days" but "good days" are really good!!
Sometimes pain relieving medicines cause moderate to severe weight loss. Depending on what you weighed when you started, this could be the reason you missed your cycle.
I've found that since having RSD and taking all kinds of pain medicines, not to mention most every area of my life occasionally getting a bit nutso, it's not unusual for me to skip a cycle.
Also, you didn't mention your age; could you be entering perimenopause? (The beginning of menopause that happens two to four years before the onset of "regular" menopause.)
The internet is a wonderful thing - use it and find answers to everything you never knew you wanted to know. Good luck to you!
