My son is 14 and we are on week 10. I am just wondering if the nasty irritability will ever go away. He is a teenager, so I am not naive, but it has gotten really bad since we bumped him up to 4 mg., and I worry it may affect his friendships. So, does it eventually level off? How long?

I don't find an answer to this question and would desperately want to hear about others experience. My 15 year old daughter is on Intuniv and she's having some really severe meltdowns. I agree with the above question that she's a teenager ,,, but really! She goes off for one to three hours and is totally out-of-control. when she's calm, she's very contrite and apologetic. Otherwise, I think I see the benefits of Intuniv in other areas of her life and can only hope that the meltdowns stop.
Anyone else with this experience?
