... a little over a year!
I am my brother's carer, he takes 500mg of Clozapine a day, the only way I have found is a low starch diet, cutting out wheat gluten especially is helpful, cut out bread, cakes, biscuits, potatoes, pasta, and all breakfast cerials; my brother has 100g of milled seeds with truvia and ground ginger drunk with orange flavoured water for breakfast. fortunately my brother is not a vegetarian so a single slice of ham is enough to stop food cravings. Walking is very beneficial of course also. My brother also takes Kelp and a very good multi vitamin and a good B complex. Be very aware Clozapine increases the risk of diabetes this is very serious, and must be taken into account from day one in my opinion. Good luck.
