... for you?
I had anosmia and dysgeusia brought on by a viral attack on my olfactory system about 15 years ago. I'm in Miami, FL and nobody down here could do anything to help me. The head ENT guy at Mt. Sinai Hospital did mention a doctor doing research on these conditions. I called him, went to see him, and the bottom line is that I am now at least 95% cured for both taste and smell.
My recommendation to you is to contact Dr. Robert Henkin at the Taste and Smell Clinic in Georgetown, Washington, D.C. You can find the clinic on the Internet. Dr. Henkin has helped people with our "orphan" conditions for many years, and I really feel I owe my life to him. I was actually contemplating suicide at one point knowing that I'd lost those two very, very important senses to feel a part of the world. Call the clinic and talk to them!
