Technically, this is possible since Victoza itself will help with A1c goals and it helps with weight loss.
Currently, Victoza is not considered a first or second line treatment option, it is third line. There is evidence and recomendations that Metformin is the most effective and best in the long term for complications related to diabetes.
That being said, if you are under control have good blood sugars fasting and after eating and you A1c is nice and low - then why change what is working for you?
Your best bet will be to talk with your endocrinologist to review yor labs. Unfortunatly it is hard to say without looking at though whole picture.

Victoza - my doctor diagnosed me pre-diabetic and put me on 1.8 from day one - is this not too much?
