I live in Ga. Have BCBC of Ga HMO probally a 12 week treatment . Just disgnosed
From my own experience, (i was on the 6 month treatment of HARVONI and I live in Penna,) my health insurance Keystone 65 picked up most of the cost. The balance was payed for by a foundation that I got help from through my Hospital! It took time and. research and depending on your yearly salary and yearly medical bills as to the financial support you will receive. Call your health insurance company first, then Gilead. There is help out there but you have to do some research. Good luck!
If you go to the Harvoni website you can sign up for a co-pay coupon from Gilead which would make your co-pay $5 per bottle for a twelve week treatment. There are no income requirements, everyone qualifies. I just got approved in the last two days and the specialty pharmacy took the information from my co-pay coupon over the phone and verified my $5 co-pay which they will send me a bill for. My meds were shipped to my doctor last night. Once you register online with Gilead you can print the coupon immediately.
