Im confused because I have herd both ways on Tylenol and ibuprofen. My Dr didn't say anything. Up until now I'm half way through my treatment I have felt great but I'm starting to get pretty bad headaches
Hi, My doctor is head of Grastro at University of Penna and on the research team and he advises to take Tylenol, but no more than 2000 daily! I personally recommend drinking more water too, it has helped me very much. I had headaches the first 3 weeks daily. Once I increased my water intake to 10/12 glasses daily, there was an big improvement!
When I first found out I had HepC I was told to forget alcohol & Tylenol were ever invented. I had a training class before I started taking Harvoni was told to drink 100 oz of water a day and if I got headaches to take no more than 2000mg of Tylenol a day. Hard to imagine taking Tylenol after avoiding it like the plague for 16 yrs. Been drinking 100 oz of water a day & peeing out 3 gal, don't know how that works but I haven't had any headaches
I have heard you can take up to 2,oooo mg Tylonal for pain. Just not all the time. Im Stage 3 fibrosis and hesitant to take anything. So I'm researching alternative ways. Like turmic, ginger etc..I haven't seen where those spices will hurt the liver. CASPIAN as well could help. Also rubs seem to help. By the way I'm 2 months in my Harvoni treatment and I'm Hep C clear. Yaaaa. I have not felt better in a long time. My fog is gone ,I'm happy and have energy. Im walking now to lose the weight.I think a person is what you make of your self and your attitude. You have to be positive. Also my skin has cleared up. For that I'm grateful. Im 63 years old
