My husband's left arm has hurt so badly, the doc prescribed one pack last week. He took 1 and 1/2 days worth because he had to go to the ER due to the pain. He also was short of breathing, and a blood clot in his left lung was found. ER discontinued the prednisone. He's been on dilaudid for 2 weeks as well as taking lubinox shots 2X daily and coumadin. 3 days ago, his knee doc prescribed the methypred pack again as he still thinks pain is due to inflammation in arm. Hubby finished the first pack and says he will take 2nd pack.
temp; As long as the doctor prescribing the Medrol pack knows the other medications he is on and he took the one without any problems so this one well be fine. Make sure with all these new things going on keep a list of all his medications so if you end up in the ER AGAIN or anywhere that the doctors need to know what he is taking. This Includes all prescription and over the counter and vitamins etc. Keep them all on a list so they can check before giving him something new. This is also a good reason to use the same pharmacy so the pharmacist can check for any drug Interactions as he or she is filling the prescriptions for you. Chuck1957
