my doctor keeps changing the amounts just wondering
It's easier to lose weight when your dosage is correctly adjusted to your deficiency. Your Dr. appears to be trying to find that correction amount. It can take months because your thyroid testing typically has to be a few months after a change in dose to see the results. When your TSH(Thyroid Stimulating Hormone) is within normal range, you're there. People often lose weight when their TSH becomes normal. I personally didn't lose anything, but my many other medications may be to blame for that.
