I am always out of breath. I will be sitting down and breathing really really hard and sometimes i cant catch my breath i hate it, it happens all the time..what could this mean? (and im not diagnosed with asmtha either)..
You didn't mention whether you are a smoker or not!!However, you must do x-rays for your lungs first;then the doc would decide if you need heart checking.Go and see instead of guessing, which is not a good idea. you'd find out, hopefully, what causes this hard breathing. Some people who don't exercise,do have breathing problems.I wish you luck.ace_rick
I tend to agree with Ace_Rik. How do you know you don't have asthma or just alleriges which can trigger asthma. If you were a smoker you could have COPD too. I have tons of allergies, & usually the asthma only bothers me in the Fall, but this year being so dry, & Spring coming on so soon, I am having trouble with my breathing too. Sometimes if you have an allergy it can do this to you. You need to see an allergy doctor to determine if this is the case. they can order breathing tests that measure the amount of oxygen you are inhaling & exhaling to see if their is something wrong with your lungs... Another thing to consider is your weight. If it is too high the extra weight restricts your ability to breath, just as it does late in pregnancy. You might have a pneumonia. Get to a doc right away. Inability to breathe well leads to extremely serious conditions. It will not just go away. It can harm inner organs, wreck your brain, there is a lot involved. So rather than self diagnose take control and get to a doc right away. Ok? Let us know what the doc said. We love mysteries.
I know that I find myself breathing hard when I am in a great deal of pain. it is a natural response for your body to start breathing harder. You really didn't give enough information for us to get you a good idea of what you should do. Are you in chronic pain? Do you have allergies? Any heart problems. What proceeds the hard breathing ? Do you see what I am getting at?
I hope that you find the answer that you are looking for.
