I had protected sex a week ago. I was on the patch birth control and we used a condom; however, the condom came off inside of me. I was scared that birth control wasn't enough so I took the plan b pill. My period came on time but it is super light and only brown. My periods are usually red and somewhat heavy in the beginning. Could i be pregnant?
It's the huge dose of artificial hormone in Plan B, combined with the artificial hormone in your regular birth control. It was unnecessary to use the emergency contraception if you followed the instructions when first having your regular contraception given, & were out of that first time period where you may need extra protection, until it starts to take effect, & you'll find that you will likely have some hormonal symptoms & possibly irregular spotting or bleeding, with or without periods, for several months. Everyone is different as to how long it takes to get back to your normal.
