... question is: Is Tryptophan an ingredient in certain medications? Or, is Tryptophan it's own individual medication? I am already diagnosed with Clinical Depression and Mood swings and currently taking Wellbutrin and Lamictal. Also, how do I become a member of this group?Thank you, Celeste
Hi caupied. On your question or above it in blue you have tryptophan listed. Click on it & it will take you right to the group questions. Tryptophan is found in certain foods. like milk & turkey. Thus, the glass of milk before bed, & the nap after a big Thanksgiving dinner. It will help you sleep. You can buy it as a supplement, but check with your doctor before taking a supplement like this with your medications. Oh, & welcome to the site...
