Oxytocin has been assigned to a pregnancy category X by the FDA.

Category X

Studies in animals or humans have demonstrated fetal abnormalities and/or there is positive evidence of human fetal risk based on adverse reaction data from investigational or marketing experience, and the risks involved in use of the drug in pregnant women clearly outweigh potential benefits.

Why would you take it? Oxytocin stimulates labor. If you're trying to cause an abortion, don't. It is far safer to see a gynecologist.

I'd wager this is a typo, bet it's supposed to be OxyContin. What say you, masso, kaismama, do you believe it could be a typo?
