You will get very sick.

Drinking any amount of alcohol with Flagyl can result in side effects such as flushing, headache, shortness of breath, nausea and vomiting, and rapid heart rate.
Flagyl is very similar to a medicine called Antabuse used to help alcoholics. These reactions to alcohol (called the disulfiram reaction) is usually enough to deter people from having another drink.

Hello Sandra 1973. The above answers are both correct. Suzanne66's answer is however, thought out and put into context. Regards pledge

I would also like to add that the effects of Flagyl can stay in your system for several days after taking it. It is advised not to drink for a week after your last dose to avoid getting ill.
