on May 8, 2013 i was diagnosed with invasive ductile carcinoma 2nd stage. i underwent 24 weeks of chemotherapy then had surgery. after surgery my oncologist prescribed tamoxifen but later changed to femara because of some medicine that my primary physician prescribed. the 2 medicines didn't work together. the oncologist didn't tell me to quit the femara, i quit on my own. i was just wondering what would happen if i quit taking it on my own without the oncologist knowing. i haven't finish 5 years of the so-called time period that you are supposed to take the medicine.
