I am suppose to take my insulin at 8am and 5pm, but what if I got the time messed up and took the 5pm dose at 4pm?
I'm not a professional, but am an insulin dependant diabetic and an hour's difference shouldn't matter or affect your blood sugar that much.
It depends on the type of insulin. If its long acting it shouldn't make a difference, if its fast acting, you'd have to eat earlier.
Since its long acting, it shouldn't make that much of a difference. So you take short acting before meals? You may need to tweak that a little before you eat. Not a doctor but RD and CDE.
Ask your Dr. It is easy to make a phone call.
