Please i read that in Africa, plasmodium malaria is the commonest but relapsing type of malaria is normally caused by P.vivax, and the textbook made mention of Primaquine as a recommended drug for those of us with relapsing type. i went to the drug shop to buy but did not get it after several combing in my area, so i want to know an alternative drug for the not so serious but relapsing malaria. thank you

The choice of medication depends in part on where you were when you were infected.
Drugs commonly used to treat malaria caused by Plasmodium Vivax are Chloroquine and Primaquine.
See: https://www.drugs.com/condition/malaria.html and click on drug name for more information.
