I'm afraid it might break off if I color it and I don't want to use a curling iron to straighten out the fuzz! I'm 70 and have had healthy hair all my life up until a few months ago, this all seemed to happen within a few weeks. Its also thinning out in this area. Is there anything I can do or take to stop this before I'm bald on top!!!
The first thing I'd do is go see a really good beautician and get her opinion of what I can do for my hair. Then go to the dr and find out if my nutrition was good. And it could be medication too. The other thing is that as we get gray, the hair changes texture. I see a huge difference in my hair as it gets gray. I've taken to using a semi permanent color instead of a permanent one because the last permanent one I used beat the devil out of my hair.
