posible they said they worked the same but i do not think
what works for one person does not for another, has your doctor offered to inquire (ask the Insurance to approve Lexaprol to be paid for?) or is Celexa the next step he took? this is not the best answer in the world but ask your doctor tell him and the pharmacist how you feel please take care
Hi krisajk. Sorry to hear about your dilemma. Have you asked the doctor about prescribing the generic for Lexapro,.escitalopram? You may also try contacting Forest Pharmaceuticals to request obtaining this medication for free (if you qualify) or at a discount. Most pharma companies have patient assistance programs. You could also ask your doctor for free samples. The pharma representatives usually give the doctors plenty of free samples. I also heard that if you're having bad reactions to other medications, the insurance company may be required to pay for the medication that you don't have a negative reaction to. You have the right to appeal this decision. Don't give up hope. Ask your doctor to help you with this.
