What condition is guanfacine prescribed to treat?
Guanfacine is used in the treatment of adhd; tourette's syndrome; high blood pressure and belongs to the drug class antiadrenergic agents, centrally acting. There is no proven risk in humans during pregnancy. Guanfacine is not a controlled substance under the Controlled Substance Act (CSA).
