I'm taking Trinessa and Im almost on the dark blue pills but I should start my period soon. Should I switch to the green pills? Or just continue on the dark blue ones?
No no no. You take them as they come. You should start your period when the pills say its times. You take the green ones after the dark blue ones. You cannot use an app to track your period because the pill controls it. You will get your period when you are on the green pills. There is a way to avoid a period and if you ever want to do that come back here and ask how, don't try it on your own.
Never mind where your period was before the Pill. Once you start the Pill, you keep taking the pills as they come in the pack regardless of when you bleed. The Pill will dictate your hormonal cycle and your period will eventually come during the 4th weeks inactive pills (the green ones). You dont change the Pills to fit you, the Pills will change you to fit their cycle. If you dont take them as they come in the pack, you wont be properly protected!!
