So i got diagnosed with relapsing multiple sclerosis, I'm 22 with a 3 year old and I'm having some crazy feelings. Numbness, horrible migraines, blindness in the mornings. Is like to see if anybody is taking Tysabri and is it working for the symptoms that occur with RRMS Thanks!
Hi, Amber - I was diagnosed w/RRMS in 1999. I'm now SPMS, since late 2015. My son was barely 4 when I got my diagnosis, so I sympathize, BIG TIME! That said, Tysabri might be overkill as a starting med. It has some wicked potential side effects (incl. PML & death... ) so you might want to hold off and try one of the ABCR drugs or one of the oral meds first. My best advice? See an MS SPECIALIST (neurologist) even if you have to travel to do so, to discuss prescription options. Hang in there! :)
