it seems to me that doctors are not well informed on this i have had surgery and have to mre surgerys coming up and i have not had good pain relif ,
To doctors the surgery will be your pain relief, your lucky to get a tylenol post op. If it is done with a scope don't expect much. They will probably send home and tell you to buy some advil or something.
About 5 years ago my husband basil cell cancer, the growth was removed outpt and I was in the or with him to ensure that no short cuts were taken. It was huge the size of a fille mingon. By the time we got to the car he was in terrible pain, they told him before he left to take tylenol. I called his doctor later that day and they gave tylenol with codiene, good think I had real pain meds.
