Hi charitylaraye, my husband has a pace maker & pain in the armpit may indicate that her leads aren't in the right place or that they've pulled loose. If this was happening with my husband, I'd get him to the er immediately. Leads in the wrong place could be dangerous.God bless & good luck.

Hello Charity, I agree with all other comments, take her to the ER. My mother also had a pacemaker when she was alive and that sort of pain prompt all of us to get her in the hospital as the leads can go wrong just as Cleanx had mentioned... best to you and your mother... pamee
