..for those of you who have been tested for a gluten allergy?
I see it has been 3 days and no replies, so I will "butt in". Diphenydramine is over the counter, a gold standard antihistamine, in my view. Consider taking one a day at night for a week or so, if your doctor is not opposed or if you are not taking other drugs, and see if this helps calm down your symptoms. Just try one, it is the same as benedryl, and see if you notice things improve with your symptoms.
Also give me a helpful message response so I feel good, because I think people do not know they can mark a response as helpful. I have no helpful message feed back yet.
My husband has bouts of leaky gut when he eats too many grains, pasta, rice, white potatoes and bread. When we cut out those items and now eat sprouted whole wheat bread from the alvarado bakery in CA. His symptoms were abdominal distress, restless legs at night and sometimes even stabbing pains in his left shoulder. He did complain of charlie horses at night and really sore legs during the day.
Now that both of our diets have changed and we both lost weight... he doesn't complain of any of those symptoms. He doesn't eat anything any more that I haven't prepared. We both have benefitted from altering our lifestyle and diet.
