I am looking for something cheaper than victoza.
They are different types of meds that work so differently its hard to compare them. Victoza is supposed to be used when other methods fail. If you haven't ever tried the pills before, then they may be enough for you. There are new pills in the class of SGLT2 Inhibitors, Farxiga, Invokana, Jardiance ... so victoza isn't the latest or necessarily the greatest. These pills are way cheaper then victoza and there is assistance from the manufacturers for all these meds. If you can't get that, there are still discounts and coupons, plus drs get piles of samples. There are also organizations that know where to get even more help. Of course if the older pills work for you, then that is the best thing because of cost.
