We had unprotected sex on the 15 and she is due to have her period on the 20th. She took the Plan B pill after about 2 hours. She is also on birth control. She has had cramps and nausea and has just felt bad. Is there any way she could be pregnant?
Why why did she take Plan b when she is on the Pill??? If she is taking the Pill correctly, she doesnt NEED Plan b! Plan b is about 80% effective and the Pill is about 98-99.9% effective so the Pill alone is better than Plan b. All Plan b did for her is give her a huge blast of hormones and screwed up her cycle! Sex was NOT unprotected, she was protected by her birth control pill. Once established on the Pill, condoms are for STD protection, not contraception unless she misses a pill or she is on antibiotics then they should be sued as back up but otherwise there is no need. She is fully covered as she can be by the Pill.
Birth control is just that, birth control. It is the best there is being 99% effective, she absolutely does not need to take plan B with it. You didnt have unprotected sex, she is protected by the pill. Plan B will mess with her cycle and cause all kinds of stuff like cramps and late periods.
