My husband has COPD and has panic attacks at night. The Alprazolam is the only thing that seems to help him calm down and go back to sleep. The last RX he got was a different color than the green he was taking and they did not work at all. Help!!!
Call his dr. He could increase the dose so that it will do the job, with this refill only. Or he could give you a prescription for the brand name.
It is supposed to be alprazolam 1 mg. Different companies use different inactive ingredients and that can change absorption. Also let the pharmacy know what happened so they can do something about these meds they have available to dispense. Then contact the FDA at fda.gov they can check into it.
The thing that is odd is its made by sandoz and they are a reputable company. Possibly its a bad lot.
