I woke this morning with reflux; it really burns. i drank water, but was wondering if water is the best thing to rinse the burning in my throat. Maybe there's something better to rinse with.
Water is fine. It will help to rinse and dilute the excess acid. Have you consulted a Dr about your condition. There are many medications that can help reduce the amount of acid produced by the stomach, both prescription and OTC. You could try one of the OTC's like Zantac, Tagamet, or Prilosec but be sure you do check with your Dr especially if it persists. You want to make sure that you have not already developed an ulcer.
