... sex. Last week, with only 1 day left of active pills, the condom broke. In a panic, I took plan b the next morning. I've been on the inactive pills 4 days and still haven't gotten my period. Will all the medication affect my cycle?
You did not need to take plan B. I wish I could get that thru to you kids. It just screws up your cycle. You don't ovulate when you're on the pill, so you can't get pregnant. You don't need a condom to prevent pregnancy so you don't need to worry if it breaks. All plan B does is delay ovulation, but you don't ovulate. There are very few circumstances where you would need to take plan B. So what if you only had one day of active pills left, you are protected all the time. Plan B almost always delays your period. If you don't get your period, start the next pack when its due, do NOT wait to start it. You don't need to have your period, so it won't hurt you.
