When will generic Lexapro be on the $4 list?

Hi, momma!. The patent expired a year ago. Now it just depends on how long it takes before a generic house is licensed to manufacture the drug. Lexapro is a popular medication, so I imagine it should be fairly soon.
Best wishes, WCV

Most meds on the 4$ lists are exceedingly cheap anyway. I have been unable to get a price on the generic yet. I doubt its going to start real cheap tho. I take effexor, and for my script, brand is $150 a month and generic is $115 I don't anticipate lexapro will be different.

I recently had a prescription filled for generic Lexapro (escitolapram 10mg) and it was very inexpensive. I can't say how much it costs without insurance, but on my plan it was $5 for a 30-day supply. Generics are out there.
